He is survived by: his sister Nita Sue Baum (Charlie); his children, Patti Brown (Mike) and Brian Smith (Elaine); his grandchildren, Chris Brown (Meredith), Stephanie Brown Ownby (Conley), Jennifer Smith, Kelly Smith Stalsworth (Justin) and Tyler Smith (Mackenzie); his great grandchildren, Mia Celleste Grant, Ian Tate, Margaret Jane Brown, Emma, Liam and Ewan Ownby; and his great great grandchildren, Celeana, Maisia and Caspian. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
