It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn O'Dell Quarles in Jefferson City, Tennessee, born in Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gene J. Quarles; her parents, Aaron O'Dell and Belle O'Dell; her sister Bettye Overholt (Dale); and her nephew Eddie Overholt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patti Clement (Wayne) and Carol Monroe (Steve); her grandmothers, Katie Cantrell (Jacob), Dr. Parker Clement (Ashley), Caroline Feltman (Spencer) and Maggie Clement; her great grandchildren, John Rupert Black, James Fox Black, Monroe Elizabeth Feltman and Clark Henry Feltman; and her brother Gerald O'Dell (Judy). She is also survived by her children, her grandchildren, her friends.
