He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis B. Atchley and Alma Ada Wells Atchley; his brothers, Curtis B. Atchley, Jr., Robert Raymond Atchley, Edward Noah Atchley and Jack Lee Atchley; and his son-in-law Harold Edward Flinchum.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Atchley; his children, Debra J. Flinchum, Tracy E. Howard (Kenny) and J. Atchley (Katie Bean); his grandchildren, Tiffany Simon, Chris Hustad, Maggie, Emma, Ethan Atchley and Mary Hefner; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Peyton, Hunter Simon, Emery, Eli Hustad, Anslee Thompson and Lelia Hefner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Benevolent Fund of First Baptist Church Jefferson City, or to The Knoxville Heart Association.
