He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Hooper Green and Cora Eller Kear Green; and his sister Irene Green Courtney. He is survived by: his children, Johnny Green (Camille), Donna McPherson (Dale) and Missy Green; his brothers, Roger Green (Susan) and Jerry Green (Sandra); and his brother-in-law Robert Courtney. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
