She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Whitaker; and her parents, Henry May and Minnie May. She is survived by: her daughter Vickie; her son-in-law David Jordan; her grandson David Jordan III (Mary); her great grandchild David Jordan IV; her grandchildren, Chelsea Jordan and Nate Jordan; and her sister-in-law Jessie Skeen. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the children's programs at either Central Heights Baptist Church, 108 E Price Road, Dandridge, TN 37725, or to Buffalo Grove Baptist Church, 1137 Buffalo Road, Jefferson City, TN 37760.
