She was predeceased by: her husband Paul W. Niswanger, Sr.; and her sister Carolyn Clark. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Verschoor (A. J.) and Paul W. Niswanger, Jr. (Helena); her sister Ruth Maxine Sherrod; and her grandchildren, Kathryn McCracken (Brandon), Elizabeth Maria Farmer, Ashlee Gutierrez (Allen), Krystin Groff and Joann Strazzullo (Tony). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
