He was predeceased by: his father William E. Denney Sr.; his wife Patricia Denney; his mother Edith Pearl Denney; his sisters, Thelma Louise Denney and Allie Mae Denney Wilkey; and his grandson Kenneth Quinton Byram.
He is survived by: his children, William E. Denney III (Angie) of Scottsboro, AL., Thomas "Tommy" Denney of Kimball, TN, Pamela Kirk (Jackie) of Front Royal, VA, Janet Byram of Kimball, TN and Brother Johnnie Denney of Gizzard Cove; and his close friend Diane Massengale (Steve Moss). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
