He was predeceased by: his father Carl Mack Johnson; his wife Merrie A. Johnson; his parents-in-law, James and Charlotte Smith; his brothers, Gary Johnson and Jimmy Godsby; his brother-in-law Gregory Cannon; his sister Linda Godsby; and his sister-in-law Kimberly Johnson.
He is survived by: his mother Margaret Pauline Cagle Johnson; his children, Terry Mack Johnson, Jr. (Natasha) and Heather Chambers (Benjamin); his siblings, George Ronnie Johnson, Carl David Johnson, Delbert Earl Johnson, Michael Godsby, Katherine Johnson Grider (David) and Peggy James (Michael); and his grandchildren, Anna, Alexander Chambers, Kaidyn and James Colton Mack Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cumberland View Cemetery.
