He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas O'Daniel and Rubye O'Daniel Long; his wife Trudy P. O'Daniel; his sons, Leslie Neil O'Daniel, Jr. and William O'Daniel; his brother Thomas E. O'Daniel; and his son-in-law Alton Lee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Lee of Rossville, GA., Peggy Campbell (Chuck) of Jasper, TN. and Trish Martin (Greg) of South Pittsburg; his grandchildren, Stephanie Hirst (Brandon), Charlie Campbell, Tommie Campbell (Sierra), Sean Coffelt (Heather), Lacey Coffelt and Robert Lee (Kirsten); his brother Dr. Kenneth O'Daniel (Lori) of Scottsdale, AZ.; his friends, David Hoback and Larry Gravitt; and also Martha Kilgore. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
