She was predeceased by: her husband Dale Smith; her son Jerry Dale Smith; her parents, Matthew Ambrose and Ruby Lilla Vann; her siblings, Bill Vann, Richard "Snookie" Vann, Johnnie Chancelor and Robert Vann; and her grandson Jason Dale Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Smith Moses (David) and Jason Dewayne Smith (Tara); her grandchildren, Justin David Moses (Kate), Lauren Michelle Moses, Ryan Craig Landry (Rachel), Layni Breann Smith and Lyla Grace Smith; her great grandchildren, Jaxson Moses, Ady, Corbin and Harlin Landry; and her sisters, Ruby Whitehead and Rena Berkley.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Cemetery.
