With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loyd Hood (Jasper, Tennessee), who passed away on August 2, 2018 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Iva Sue Hood. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hood of Jasper; his children, Tracie Hood Allender (Chris) of Jasper, Jackie Hood of Centre, Jana Hood Massengale (Daniel) of Jasper, Mary Jernigan (Richard) of Atlanta and Wayne Jordan (Amy); his grandsons, James Loyd Kilgore, Jacob Hood Allender, Caleb Daniel Massengale, Jared Christopher Allender and Elijah Richard Massengale; his siblings, Bartley Hood, Jr. (Carolyn), Pat Hood (Eloise) and Wanda Kilgore (Bobby); his sister-in-law Margie Hood; and his friends, Jeannie Nunley and James Ed Layne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
