In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Leland leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Leland may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lankford Dodson and Willie Sue Nunley Dodson; and his brother David Dodson. He is survived by: his son Dustin Dodson (Monica); his stepson Zachery Crawford (Beth); and his siblings, Freddie Dodson (Nita), Linda Dodson, Wanda Deakins (Marty), Jannie Stanfield and Joey Roberts (Lester). He is also survived by six grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Red Hill Cemetery.
