With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Vernon Haggard of Jasper, Tennessee, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vernon Haggard, Sr. and Mary Kirk Haggard; his son Ricky Lee Haggard; and his daughter-in-law Paula Sexton. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Wooten Haggard; his children, Kenny Haggard and Vickie Flood (Randy); his siblings, Johnny Haggard, Joseph Haggard (Wilma), Jody Fann (Thess), Betty Lancaster (Ronnie), Barbara Blevins (Earl), Peggy Taylor and Connie Haggard; and his grandchildren, Lynn Flood, Isaac Flood, Brooke Haggard, Abbie Haggard, Billy, Craig, Josh and Rebecca Talley. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens (3076 Main St, Jasper, TN 37347).
