He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Louise Jacobs; his mother Evelyn Ann Jacobs of Sewanee, TN.; his children, Kenneth Allen Jacobs (Chrissy Dee Jacobs), Billie Evelyn Jacobs, Jerry Kevin Jacobs, Thomas Richard Jacobs (Erin Linette Jacobs) and Kimberly Diane Holen (Austin Daniel Holen); his grandchildren, Colton Ryan Jacobs, Jori Michelle Jacobs, Bianca Ebonique Jacobs, De'Andre Charles Hill, Brionna Le'Rae Cleveland (Wesley Cleveland), Emma Brynn Jacobs, Audrey Jordan Jacobs, Kimberly Rebecca Jacobs and Kaitlin Florence Holen; his great grandchildren, Raegan Marie Jackson and Aubrionna Noelle Cleveland; his nephew Jim Jacobs (Becky Jacobs); his children, Dennis Jacobs and Carla Green (Josh Green); his grandchildren, Carmen Green and Josie Green; his children, Eliza Jacobs, Tim Jacobs, Sally Green, Samuel Jacobs (Renee Jacobs) and Raelessa Porter (Joey Porter); his grandchildren, Madison Porter, Evan Porter and Quinn Porter; his uncle James Barry (Judith Barry); his aunt Patricia Shetters (Martin Shetters); his cousin Danny Barry (Arlene Barry); and also, Ryan Barry (Lydia Barry), Evan Barry, Hannah Barry, Brenda Patton Chavis, Cheryl Hodge and Mike Hodge.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Shriners Hospital for Children. These two charity organizations he held dear to his heart.
