He is survived by: his wife Bertha Thompson; his daughters, Kim Genter (JD) and Angie Thompson; his grandchildren, Brittany Slatton (Wade), Trey Hill, Maddy and Owen Givens; his great grandchildren, Maverick and Camille Slatton; and his siblings, Randy Shirley and JoAnn Hurst.
