In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jimmie had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Jimmie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Bennett, Jr. and Sadie Keef Bennett; his brother Ronnie Bennett; and his sister-in-law Debra Bennett. He is survived by: his siblings, Steve Bennett, Joey Bennett (Thelma), Raymond Bennett (Donna) and Daphne Smith (Kelly). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens (3076 Main St, Jasper, TN 37347).
