With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elfriede Pryor of Jasper, Tennessee, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Neissner and Aldolfine Neissner; her stepmother Francisca Neissner; her husband Joe D. Pryor; her brother Josef Neissner; and her granddaughter Amanda Pryor.
She is survived by: her children, Joe D. Pryor, Jr. (Christine) and Patricia Pryor; her sister Gertrude Macon; her granddaughter Samantha Nash; and her great grandchild Willem Nash. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens (3076 Main St, Jasper, TN 37347).
