He is survived by: his wife Helen Cross Bivins; and his sisters, Virginia Owens (Larry), Charlene Cherry (Issiah), Gloria Johnson (Willie), Debra Sanders and Denise (Alfonzo). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Pearl Virginia Yarber Bivins; daughter, Hope Charity Bivins; brother, Herman Bivins and sister, Edna Owens.
