He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leonard Walters, Sr. and Bernice Reynolds Layne (Janice Rogers); his grandparents, Arthur, Willie Walters, Henry and Mattie Reynolds; and his siblings, David Ray Walters and Rosemary Cartwright.
He is survived by: his children, Charlie Walters, Jeffery Walters (Brandi) and Christy Sanders; his sisters, Barbara Turner and Patricia Garner; his grandchildren, Kayden, Mason Walters, Damion Nunley and Arielle Sanders; his nephew Blake Coffelt; and his close friend Matt Rogers.
