He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kirk Barnes of Jasper; his children, Jerry Barnes (Sherry), Mark Barnes (Hope) and Becky McCrary (Chris); his sisters, Nancy Layne of South Pittsburg, Carol Prince (Russell) of Ooltewah and Ruth Goff (Robert) of Trenton; and his grandchildren, Nicole, Kristina, Anslee, Tyler and C. J..
