He is survived by: his daughter Doris Currington; his grandchildren, Dr. Frances Harper (Russell Black), Reverend Crystal Fallesen (Tim) of David and Currington, Jr. of Lakrisa; his great grandchildren, Eli, Khloe, Arabella, Nakaia Fallesen, Gianna, Violet, Zimbracko Currington, Jazmyn Gentry, Peyton, Maeson Freeman and McKinsely Hollis; and his sister Linda White (Virgil). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pine Grove Cemetery of New Hope (376 Pine Grove Rd, New Hope, TN 37380).
