He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Samples; his parents, John Samples and Bertha Phipps; his sons, Wayne Samples and Kenny Samples; his daughter-in-law Wanda Samples; his grandson Anthony Samples; and his brother Charles Samples.
He is survived by: his children, Norma Shipley (Tim) of Jasper and Roger Samples (Sherry) of Richard City; and his sisters, Lucille Muir and Betty Muir. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of friends.
