She was predeceased by: her parents, Benton Quarles and Icie Webb Quarles; her siblings, Carl, Austin, Leon, Kenneth and Joyce Quarles Blevins; her sister-in-law Beverly Quarles Jones; and her great-niece Colleen Thomasson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
