He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Cargile and Jennie Cargile (Patton); his brother Wayne Cargile (Lorene); and his brother-in-law Wayne Brown. He is survived by: his wife Judy Cargile (Lester); his children, Angie Cargile Starr (Andrew), Kellye Cargile Mowchan and Scott Cargile; his grandchildren, Lauren Starr, Drew Starr (Keli) and Marley Mowchen; his great grandchildren, Noah Drew Starr, Piper Laine Duncan and Andy Clay Starr; his sister Virginia Brown; and his aunts, Louise Stockton (late Buster) and Peggy Coe (late Bill). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jennings Funeral Homes, Inc. (414 N Main St, Jamestown, TN 38556). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to the Fentress Co. Food Bank or the Handfuls of the Harvest.
