She was predeceased by: her son James D. "Smithers" Smith; her parents, Dial "Dickie" Dottson Delk and Vechel Mae Hinds (Garrett); and her grandparents, Herman, Mae Garrett, David and Dona Delk.
She is survived by: her daughter Lovetta Dawn Drew; her grandchildren, James Marcus-Lee Stockton and Katrinia Payne; her close friend John A. Mungle; her siblings, David Delk and Deedee Hayes; and her half-sister Jackie Carrico (Joe). She is also survived by 5 Great Grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
