Verlin Cox Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verlin Cox of Jamestown, Tennessee, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Cox (Turner); his parents, Walter Cox and Edna Cox (Petree); and his brothers, Larry Cox, Alvin Cox and Roma Cox.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Rumbaugh (Eddie), Cindy Woodard (Adam), Brad Cox (Calley) and Benji Cox; his stepchildren, Joey Turner (Jennifer), Larry Turner (Susie), Angelita "Pooh" Pfeiffer, Tommy Turner (Mary) and Pam Harrison (Chris "Bubba"); his sisters, Volena Hatch, Fern King, Jennie Young and Judy Stewart (Fred); and his friend Many Friends. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the American Legion Post 137.
