He is survived by: his wife Susan Howe; his children, Alan Howe (Ayana) and Miranda Rowland (Andy); his granddaughter Shylynn Rowland of Roxboro, NC; and his sister Ruby King of Jamestown, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
