He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Owens and Eva Owens (Cravens); his siblings, Sam Owens, Joe Owens and Brenda Stewart; and his brother-in-law Finley Barnett.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie Owens (Henrietta) and Eddie Owens (Melissa); his siblings, Ricky Owens, Bobbie Barnett, Sandra (Don Wilson) and Jane Choate; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Owens and Kathy Smith A. He is also survived by sa 6 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
