He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ed and Jessie Lee Swanson Sentell; and his siblings, Terry, James Lee Sentell and Linda Westmoreland.

He is survived by: his sister Judy Hamlin of Easley, SC; and his nieces and nephews, Chanse, Random, Destin and Patience.
