He was predeceased by: his parents, Lelar Marie Hinds (Pennycuff) and Grady Hinds; his wife Mona Hinds (Gilreath); and his siblings, Lola Norris, Claxon, James and Clyde Hinds.
He is survived by: his sons, Chandler Hinds, Tracy Hinds and Rodney Hinds (Lisa); his grandchildren, Balea Cooper (Blake) and Blake French (Maleigha); his great grandchild Benton French (Paulette Flick Hutchison); and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Gilreath, Ann Allred, Mary Gilreath and Pauline Wood (Buddy). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
