He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Hinds. He is survived by: his children, Larry Hannah (Tammy) and Paula Whitehead (Wendell); his grandchildren, Tiffany Gross (Chris), Kristen Wunch (Justin), Josh Hannah, Brittney Stephens (John) and Lonnie Whitehead; his siblings, Doug Hinds (Pat), Lola Flowers, Vella Brown and Connie Cravens (Ronnie); his son Philip Hinds; and his brothers, Wayne Hinds, James Hinds and Gene Hinds.
