He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson Owens and Barbara Ruth Owens (Cooper); and his siblings, Barbara York, Bernice York, Carolyn Manis and Larry Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Owens (Simpson); his children, Jeffrey Wayne Owens (Jennifer), Jennifer Rena Coffman (Jamie) and James Allen Owens (Alex); his grandchildren, Tyler Terry, Madison Terry, Nathan Cooper (Jovie), Harley Cooper, Sam Coffman, Jessica Owens, Christopher Owens and Canaan Owens; and his siblings, Juanita Cook, David Owens (Nancy), Roger Owens (Faye) and Randy Owens A. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jennings Funeral Homes, Inc. (414 N Main St, Jamestown, TN 38556). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made towards funeral expenses.
