He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivery Elmus Conatser and Ora Dean Conatser (Beaty); his daughter Samantha Whited; his siblings, Robert Dale Conatser (Barbara) and Janie Kay Byrd; and his uncles, Ruble Beaty and Jerry "Fritz" Beaty.
He is survived by: his children, David Allen Dewitt (Jennifer Ann) of Maquoketa, Eugenia Conatser Day (James David) of Robertsdale, Christy Conatser Walters of Alabama, Lance Thead of Robertsdale and James Robert Conatser of Jamestown, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Jaden Robert Dewitt, Cadence Walters and Aden Walters; his son-in-law Robert Walters; the mothers of children, Sharon Doud and Glenda Conatser Skoglund; and his grandson Justin Skoglund Elizabeth Riley A. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and live-long friends.
The military honors was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the George W. Conatser Cemetery (1166 Conatser Hollow Rd, Jamestown, TN 38556).
