She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Brown and Julia Bowling Brown; her daughter Maggie Christina Watters; her sisters, Carol Sexton and Joyce Puckett; and her nephew Gideon Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Sasha Atkins (Wade), Hasten Watters (Samantha Kirby), Bobby Watters (Amanda) and Daniel Alford (Ray); her stepchildren, Taylor Roberts (Josh), Denise Mapes (Scott) and Bradley Thompson (Kasey); her grandchildren, Kayla Brockington, Elijah Brockington, Tabari Brockington, Jacelyn Roberts (JJ), Ivy Roberts, Theo Roberts, Adlee Thompson and Alainee Thompson; and her close friends, Tess Sterling, Janie Choate and Sharon Jones. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
