He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Evelyn Bline (Berryman); and his sister Alice Crabtree. He is survived by: his former wife Vera Leonhardt (Jud); his stepdaughter Wenona Howell; his stepgranddaughters, Searrah and Emma Howell; and his siblings, John Henry Bline, Jr., Lonnie Michael Bline, Timothy Eugene Bline, Glenn Owen Bline, Betty Joan Rogers, Rebecca Florence Barnes and Julie Tapp.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
