He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Abbie Rae Gramling; and his father Ellis Charles Kassow. He is survived by: his children, Kayla Kassow (Travis Stockton), Chad Kassow and Ernie Kassow, Jr.; the mother of his children Verlie Garrett; his grandchildren, Mason Gramling and Maverick Stockton; his stepgranddaughter Addilynn Stockton; his brother Wayne Kassow; and his children, Peggy Kassow Brothers (Smith), Charles, Raymond, John and Albert Kassow.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made towards cremation expenses.
