He was predeceased by: his parents, Stacy Lee Watson and Lura Dimple Watson (Jenkins); and his siblings, Cathy Watson Smith Beaty, Roger Watson and Barbara Durham.

He is survived by: his son Jason Watson; and his siblings, Tim Watson and Tammie Pharris Sue Pecora A. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
