He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Tompkins and Edna Goad Tompkins; and his parents-in-law, Willis and Ola Tompkins. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Tompkins; his children, Russell Tompkins (Crystal) and Lorna Kaye Hamby (Steve); his sister Judy Garrett; his grandchildren, Ethan Tompkins, Evan Tompkins, Kaitlyn Hamby (Brandon Eck) and Jonathan Hamby; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Horner, Shelia Crouch, JoanTompkins and Roger Tompkins (Teresa).
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fellowship United Baptist Church (4450 Rugby Pike, Allardt, TN 38504). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
