He was predeceased by: his parents, Nimrod Roysdon and Nettie Roysdon (Slaven); and his siblings, Dorothy Watson, Beatrice Harris, Angela "Jewell" Wood, Clara Jean Wilson, Ester Davis, Estel "Buddy" Roysdon and David Roysdon of Elzo Roysdon, J. C.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Roysdon (Anderson); his children, Mary Gyette (Stephen Epperson) and David Allen Roysdon, Jr. (Kathy Terry); his grandchildren, Amanda Roysdon, Casandra Gyette, Mitchell Beshear, Casey Gyette, Matthew Hall, Hannah Rose Sampel (Cody), Kelsey Brianna Newport, Madison and Caitlyn Newberry (Stephen); his great grandchildren, Abbey Beshear, George Beshear, Gracie Whittaker, Ella Sampsel, Braelyn Newberry and Grayson Newberry; and his sister Trisha Boyer Cordia Russell A. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
