She was predeceased by: her husband Dorvin Eugene Johnson; her parents, Jesse Slaven and Rebecca Elizabeth Slaven (Watson); and her siblings, Alvie Jean Fitzgerald, Mary Belle Ferrell, Gilbert "Joe" Slaven, Bro. James Harold Slaven, Printis Slaven and Alice Carol Slaven.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Koger (Bobby) and Valerie Davis (Chad); her grandchildren, Bobbie Jo Koger, Robbie Koger (Jessica), Rodney Koger (Esther), Caleb Davis (Alexandria), Elizabeth Kumar (Christian) and Andrew Taylor (Breanna); and her great grandchildren, Landon Koger, Cameron Koger, EmmaDell Koger and Ezra Taylor.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jennings Funeral Homes, Inc. (414 N Main St, Jamestown, TN 38556). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Amazing Grace Baptist Church (1564 McBroom St, Jamestown, TN 38556).
