He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ashby and Dot Moorehead Ashby; his siblings, Betty Ann Campbell, Jim Ashby, Frank Ashby and Michael Ashby; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Ruth Hogue and Grover Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ashby; his daughters, Cathy Stover (Rick) and Nanzy Zeller (Michael); his grandchildren, Rylee Zeller and Logan Zeller; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Linder (Sandra), Peggy Ashby, Frankie Ashby, Helen Meadows (Labron) and Sue Linder (Clinton). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Beaty-Wright Cemetery Fund.
