He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marshall Collins and Mary Catherine Collins; his son Christopher Collins; his sister Patsy Hale; and his granddaughter Ashley Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Yielding Collins of Jackson; his son Steve Collins of Jackson; his sister Mary Jane Fesmire (Larry) of Jackson; his granddaughters, Nicole Collins and Lisa Denise Collins; his great grandchild Dakota Richardson; and his great great grandchild Elaine Richardson.
