He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Morris and Eva Hardin Morris; and his brothers, Tony Joe Morris and Elton Morris. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Rochelle Morris; his children, Dale Morris (Jacklyn) and Dana Heidelberg (Jim); his siblings, Juanette Pigue, Susan Kennedy and Gary Morris; and his grandchildren, Daniel Heidelberg (Amber), Trey Allen (Ashley), Abbie Marchbanks (Lee), Dillon Heidelberg (Rachel), TJ Morris (Felecia) and Lauren Wilson (Dylan). He is also survived by his 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home (1280 S Dupree St, Brownsville, TN 38012). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Providence Cemetery (21 Shaw Rd, Jackson, TN 38301).
