He is survived by: his mother Nelda Smith Owens of Jackson, TN; his wife Terrie Floyd Owens of Jackson, TN; his children, Kristen Owens McAfee (Josh) of Jackson, TN, Laura Beth Owens of Jackson, TN and Taylor Owens (Hannah) of Maumelle, AR; his siblings, Brad Owens (Ramona) of Blue Goose, TN and Kay Stroud (Steve) of Alamo, TN; his grandchildren, Addie Owens of Jackson, Jude of Jackson, Evelyn of Jackson and Emma McAfee of Jackson; and his pet Huey.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to Skyline Church of Christ in memory of Dr. Scott Owens to be used in the Christian education for his grandchildren, 1024 Skyline Drive, Jackson, TN 38305.
