She is survived by: her son Chris Wheat; her stepsons, David Collins, Rayford Collins, Jr. and Michael Collins; her grandchildren, Aiden Hilary Wheat, Michelle Hayes, Rachel Hayes and Launa Hayes; her siblings, James Hilary Wheat and Ann Weathers; and her pet Rowdy.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory (148 W University Pkwy, Jackson, TN 38305). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
