He was predeceased by: his parent Jessie Whitt; his sister Mary June Whitt VanWagoner; his nephew Daniel Hauhe; and his niece Cindy Brown. He is survived by: his parent Sarah Whitt (Cross); his daughter Candace Whitt of Palmersville; his sisters, Yvonne Counsell of Union City, Betty Bailey of Obion and Phyllis Holt Rives; and his friend Pamela Screen of Rives. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces.
