It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Modena Finley Pogue of Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Modena's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Modena's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Finley and Vivian Watson Finley; and her daughter Amy Beth Inman. She is survived by: her husband Rickey Pogue; her son Clay Pogue of Jackson, TN; her granddaughters, Samantha Strube of Knoxville, TN and Skylar Strube of Nashville, TN; and her siblings, Tommy McPherson, Kathy McLaughlin Pritchard and Jody Nale. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family request that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to any local literacy programs.
