She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richard and Pearl Mize Penn; her husband Eldred Marshall Butterfield; her son Michael John Butterfield; and her brothers, Thomas Penn, Fred Penn and Harold Penn.
She is survived by: her daughter Monica Thomas; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Butterfield. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory (148 W University Pkwy, Jackson, TN 38305). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
