It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Will Garner of Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Judi Garner; his parents, Alice Garner and George Garner; his brother Wayne Garner; and his sister-in-law Linda Garner.
He is survived by: his son David Garner; his daughter-in-law Missy Garner; his granddaughters, Alice Garner and Phelan Goble; his close friend Linda Rogers; his siblings-in-law, Kaye Tomlin (Richard), Sherri Colucci and Donald Cochran; and his cousin Peggy Payne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Meridian Baptist Church (161 Harts Bridge Rd, Jackson, TN 38301). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Gardens (3360 N Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Meridian Baptist Church in memory of John.
