Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Halsey Vegors and Roberta Vegors of Ames, Iowa.. He is survived by: his wife Ginger Gearin; his siblings, Nancy Martin of Asheville and Dr. Bob Vegors (Sue) of Jackson; and also, Richard, Cindy and Steve Spring.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northside Church (2571 N Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory be directed to Northside Church of Jackson or the charity of your choice.
